Aegis Fiber Optic Sensor System Files for Seven New Patents

photoMarch 13, 2013 (Denver, Colorado):

The scientists developing the Aegis Fiber Optic Sensor system for Summit of Everest investment customer Analyte Logic filed for seven new provisional patents this month.  The patents, which cover a range of intellectual property, address the unique and innovative methods used by Aegis to measure oxygen, carbon dioxide, and pH in real time in patients.  Previously unavailable in the health care markets, these real time measures will allow physicians, surgeons, and health care professionals to make pro-active decisions based on real time trending of these important blood analytes.  Currently, reactive decisions result from the current methods available.

As you can imagine, having more information real time and being able to identify problems sooner will save lives.  Many lives.  And that is what “Do More” is all about.
