Summit of Everest to Present at Product Development Conference in May 2012

Denver, Colorado (February 22, 2012 ): Summit of Everest Group, LLC is pleased to announce that we have been asked to present at the 2012 Collaboration and Interoperability Conference to be held May 21-23 in Colorado.  The Congress, dedicated to improving collaboration in product design, development, and manufacturing, is attended by representatives of the world’s leading product development organizations including Boeing, Bombardier, Ford, GE, Gulfstream, Honeywell, Lockheed Martin, as well as government and leading universities.

Summit of Everest was asked to present with our customer Air Methods on the success of our recent Virtual Engineering Environment project.  The abstract of the presentation is as follows.  “A common challenge among US product manufacturers is to improve margins on their existing North American business models while at the same time, increasing their flexibility to design and produce innovative, custom products for international growth. This presentation focuses on the case study of Air Methods, the most experienced operator in the air medical transport industry and their United Rotorcraft division. Air Methods decided to implement a virtual engineering environment to face the challenge of improving margins and increasing flexibility for growth – all under the stringent certification requirements of the FAA and demanding commercial and defense customers. Learn how the DMAIC process was used alongside an innovative “people first” strategy to drive significant, measurable improvements in these critical areas.”

We look forward to the event and networking with other product development organizations to discuss these important topics.  More to come in a future report!
